The bunker A8 in Schweinfurt (Bavaria) is home to the largest collection on the topics of air protection and civil defense in a bunker in Germany. For groups of ten and up to 40 people, guided tours of the spectacular bunker are offered all year round at 18:30 on weekdays and on Saturdays and Sundays by appointment (please use the request form).
The interesting adventure tour through the impressive building of 1941 (6 storeys) and thus through an important chapter of our history takes about 90 minutes.
You learn how the people in the bunker were saved from the safe bombing and everything about the stay in the huge bunker during the World War II. Please wear firm footwear and remember to put on warm clothings during the cold seasons.

Experience also a lot of very interesting details about this outstanding building, which was made atomic bomb-proof in 1983 during the Cold War.
